Constant experimentation with new materials and techniques fuels my work, which has many sources of inspiration. The idea for Multicellular came from the subtle differences in organic tissue patterns—one shape repeats in an endless variety of ways. The contrast between the thin translucent areas and the padded background was important, as was the color shift between warm and cool.
