This piece was inspired by the people from Tibet now living in exile. Home to them is a distant memory. Many have fled this country of high clouds and mountains, their home on the roof of the world. This piece is a mind’s eye view of a remembered home. It recalls a memory of the light on the mountains, the feel of the wind, a perception of the sky. This is a life holding onto remembered moments and a feeling deep inside of home. |
